PHOTO TOUR DETAILS
Dates: June 13th-15th 2018
Location: Escalante National Monument, Various locations
Group Size: 8
Difficulty: The majority of areas we will visit will be light hiking on well-worn trails (6 miles RT at most) though some compositions require a light scramble so sturdy boots are recommended. June can be VERY hot during the day while cool in the evening, be prepared for a wide range of temperatures. We will be doing most hiking in the morning and evening to avoid the main heat of the day.
Photo Tour Overview: Escalante has been described as one of the most remote locations in the desert Southwest, with an incredible variety in geology. We will be visiting locations such as the famous Zebra, Peek-a-boo and Spooky slot canyon, the Devil's Garden, Dance Hall Rock and other incredible locations for an experience you won't forget! This tour will consist of the typical Sunrise/Sunsets while taking advantage of the incredible night skies for Astrophotography - not a minute to be wasted!
My co-guide, Alex Chamberlain and I are deeply familiar with the various places we will be shooting - this takes the stress out of planning an individual trip so we can be in the right places at the right times to help you come home with incredible photos.
